[0:03] From Hi-Fi Speakers, I am Mark Whitney with today's Educational Minute. Listen up.
[0:10] Try opening your speech by saying something that arouses suspense or curiosity. Use a series of statements related to the topic that will pique your listeners' interest. Have you ever noticed that? Have you ever noticed, like, fill in the blank? I have, right? You could begin a speech by saying, I enjoy lying around the house all day. I do not care if you come home, as long as my food is available, because I have fun by myself. I like to chase my tail and stalk imaginary animals. Now, you know, you know by now that I'm a cat, right? Because dogs do not have fun by themselves.
[0:56] They need you around. That's the difference between cats and dogs, and that's the difference between cat and dog people, but that's another program. This has been your Educational Minute. Every Monday through Friday, 4 o'clock Pacific time, you get a little hit.
